Beauty’s Best Buys

If you’re like me, you’ve been penny pinching like crazy lately– carpooling with strangers to visit fam down south, splitting entrees at restaurants, sprucing up last summers sandals instead of buying new ones. And, with the exception of my Revive Moisturizing Renewal Cream, I’ve had to find ways to cut back on my beauty budget, too. Thanks to these cheapies-but-goodies, recession-readying my beauty loot has been a piece of cake.

Mark. Pure Fragrance, $15 (pictured above)
This smells clean, light, fresh…and just like this $60 perfume (which shall remain anonymous) that I fell in love with a few years ago.

e.l.f. Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15, $1
I have one of these in every bag – they give healthy lips a healthy but not overdone glow.

Jergens Original Scent Body Lotion, $4
The fresh cherry-almond scent gets me every time! Plus, it tackles dryness better than some pricier creams.

L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup, $10
You know it’s one of the best when celebrity makeup artists keep this stuff in their kits for photo shoots.
