One of the America’s greatest artists, Robert Rauschenberg, has died at the age of 82. He undoubtedly influenced many of todays contemporary artists and broke the mold for what an artist should be. In his case, an artist was: painter, photographer, printmaker, choreographer, onstage performer, set designer and, in later years, a composer. {NYT}
