We’ve written about these Somalian pirates before but NYT says these guys are making 50 million/year TAX FREE!
“The pirates use fast-moving skiffs to pull alongside their prey and scamper on board with ladders or sometimes even rusty grappling hooks. Once on deck, they hold the crew at gunpoint until a ransom is paid, usually $1 million to $2 million. Negotiations for the Ukrainian freighter are still going on, and it is likely that because of all the publicity, the price for the ship could top $5 million.”

Why Anita on a random weekday? It’s symbolic ladies…This website, MTVM, holds all the videos MTV has ever run since it’s inception pretty much. After eight months in Paris and no progress in the French lover department I continued to wonder if it had something to do with the guys I passed up.  Case in point, when I arrived in February, I met a French guy name Cean. Cean had recently moved back to Paris after living in the States and Thailand. While living in Miami he met his future wife…a Jamaican girl from the Bronx. They eventually moved to New York where they lived until they divorced.

Cean is not your average Frenchman. The day we met, he was wearing a Jamaican beanie and mentioned how he thought Black people were the salt of the earth….or something like that. Usually I am turned off by this rhetoric but (more…)
