Vogue Italia has struck again! After releasing their groundbreaking “Black Issue” last summer, the book decided to continue the tradition with the release of another Black Issue with Black Barbie as it’s leading lady. Says British Vogue:

“Barbie has scored a starring role in Vogue Italia’s most iconic edition; the Black Issue, as the magazine styles the iconic doll in a collector’s supplement. In July 2008, Franca Sozzani, editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, conceived the first Black Issue, starring models including Iman, Naomi Campbell, Liya Kebede, Sessilee Lopez and Jourdan Dunn – with the intention of sending a message to the fashion world about the importance of diversity in fashion. I am sure that you, like myself and countless women across the country had a collection of dolls and stuffed animals as a kid. And if you are like some girls we know, your collection of toys “matured” a bit as you got older. Sure you may still have your faithful “Mr. Teddy” that comes in handy during situations involving tears and Häagen-Dazs, but in your nightstand, or maybe under your bed lies another friend—your vibe. Don’t even ask me where I find this stuff at. I’m the “creative” one. But I guess it’s good to get kids into yoga at a young age…minus the rooster.

This week, I stopped by the TAG Signature Series launch in LA where Ludacris, Carmelo Anthony and Rob Drydek announced their new line of body sprays.  LaLa Vasquez showed up in stilleto Christian Louboutin’s so high that I was impressed with her ability to walk and actually stand up straight.  Ryan Phillipe and Larenz Tate showed some love for Luda while Ciara came in toward the end of the night and Denise Richards stopped by to promote herself. But the night really took the cake when Ma$e came out of hiding.  At that point I think I had seen it all. Good times!
