New York magazine features a gallery of some of the best and worse magazine shoots in October fashion magazines.  Pretty funny stuff. This image of Christian Audigier from GQ is one of my faves.  So random. What a zoo!  [NY Mag]

Chaz–born Chasity–Bono is well on her way to officially becoming a man.  The daughter son of Cher and Sony Bono revealed on ET that she has actually been going through the process for some time now. “I started in March. It lowered my voice. Fat redistributes, muscle growth, hair growth, sex drive increases. It doesn’t change anything mentally and emotionally,” she said. “[I’m] still not anywhere near what I will look like but really for the first time I am feeling much more comfortable with how I look physically.” [Huffington Post]

Two months ago, an agency working for Zappos.com created a viral video of a guy appearing to run nude in the streets of New York until he runs across a Zappos.com truck–after which he re-emerges with clothes.  Instead of seeing this as the marketing ploy that it was–CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 actually ran it on the show as if they had discovered a groundbreaking video of an average joe running naked in the streets of NY.  Months later–it was revealed that it was part of a viral marketing campaign and CNN says, “No Comment.”  And this is where we’re getting our news?  I’m very afraid.  [New York Times]

For the past 26 years, Lan Yin Tsai has dressed in heels and a dress to ride her bike 150 miles as part of an annual bike ride for MS research in the Jersey Shore. At 84, she’s still going strong.  I bow down.  (check the source on this one.. I only hope this is real and not part of an AARP viral marketing campaign!)  [CNN.com]
