Following her “Tarantino-inspired” collaboration clip with Lady Gaga for “Telephone,” Beyonce is killing the game again, but this time it’s herself.

“Sasha Fierce is done. I killed her,” said Beyonce in her recent interview with Allure magazine.

At the beginning of her career, the singer created her alter ego Sasha Fierce in an effort to separate her own shy personality from her stage persona and give herself the courage to be free and sexy while performing. Beyonce even went so far as to name check the alter ego on her last album, “I Am…Sasha Fierce.” The LP was split into two physical CDs and two genres, the “I Am…” side held pop songs like “If I Were A Boy” while “Sasha Fierce” boasted urban chic like “Video Phone,” Bey’s first duet with Lady Gaga.

Now the singer says that she’s comfortable enough with herself to be all of those things without an alias.

“I don’t need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I’ve grown, and now I’m able to merge the two,” she continued.

In fact, the singer-songwriter-actress admitted that she’s beginning a career break after the conclusion of her world tour in Trinidad this month, adding she’d like “to paint and cook, and to do Broadway shows and museums. And learn just to be at home and just watch television.”

So now that the dust has settled on the NBA trades made before and at the deadline, what can we learn about the deals the Knicks made?

Well, all the trades freed up enough free agent cap space to sign two big names in the summer for the maximum.

We also learn that Tracy McGrady was pretty great for his first game, but was right in line with Braylon Edwards’ first game as a Jet. Spectacular play in a loss.

Then, after only 15 points in his second game, he started rubbing his knee, and rubbed some more. Then some more, and now he’s sitting.

We also learned that Eddie House was brought in to “win” games. The Knicks haven’t won since he got here, but I think we’re supposed to be impressed with Sergio Rodriguez’ production as a starter.

Now that 50 cent’s little brother Nate Robinson has been banished to the town that shall not be named, and didn’t play so well upon his return to the Garden; I’m sure there will be plenty who will say what I always thought-a good player on a bad team looks great. We love M.I.A., Santigold and Maluca so we love producer Diplo by default. He’s made half of our favorite songs, which is pretty good for a skinny white boy. However when Rihanna released the pop art clip for “Rude Boy” recently, the ish hit the Twitter fan.

“Riri is lookin soo damn hawt in this video but its super boyz boyz boyz #howmaydere ? yahmsayin?,” Diplo tweeted earlier this month. The next day the producer recorded and leaked a mash-up of M.I.A.’s “Boyz” and Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” onto the web via his Twitter account. Still, Diplo says he’s a RiRi fan.

“I downloaded Rihanna’s album as soon as it came out because I was interested in seeing the pop world’s take on dub-step because that’s what they were supposed to do,” Diplo told Parlour. “Her production camp was supposed to do this dark crazy album but it was pretty weak except for “Rude Boy,” which is one of my favorite songs of the year thus far. I’m glad it came out as a single, but when I saw the video I was like ‘this is a total rip-off of M.I.A.’s “Boyz” video with a little bit of Santigold ripped off as well.’ But it’s cool because she looks beautiful in the video, I just thought it was funny.” (more…)
