Cool Down With Atlanta’s Best Hotel Pools

Nothing says summertime like skipping out of the office at 3 p.m. to lounge by the water. Since Atlanta is land locked – and if you refuse to consider the murky Chattahoochee River or the man-made travesty that is Lake Lanier – your best bet to catch a cool breeze is poolside at one of the city’s luxury hotels. Don’t worry, you won’t be breaking any trespassing laws by sneaking in either however, ordering snacks and drinks will help you blend in with the other guests.

Of course, you’ll need a stash of sunblock, something immensely trashy to read, a handheld fan and at least one pristine white towel from home (which the staff will just assume you brought from your room, wink-wink). Grab your tote, a sarong, your fave sunnies and get ready to tan those cheeks at a few of our favorite ATL spots:

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta
265 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303 (404) 577-1234

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is a favorite among business travelers, so it is one of the more under-used places to lounge during the day. And since the hotel is situated between two large buildings, the pool area is usually shaded and breezy, perfect for those 90+ degree days.

The W Hotel Atlanta- Downtown
45 Ivan Allen Junior Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30308 (404) 582-5800

Of all the locations to dip and sip, the W Hotel Wetbar has the best view of the city’s  downtown area from their infinity pool. Unfortunately, like everything else associated with the W brand, you’ll have to pay the cost ($15 parking) for a few laps in this watery wonderland. And if you’re looking for weekend R&R, be forewarned, there’s a DJ and a guaranteed party, so if you want to finish 50 Shades of Grey in peace maybe you should travel elsewhere.

The Meliá Atlanta Hotel
590 West Peachtree Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30308 (404) 877-9000

Located in the heart of midtown, the Meliá is close second place for the best view of the city following the W. This hotel has a decidedly chic atmosphere and is known as a popular place that hosts plenty parties on the weekend (whose invite lists don’t usually include hotel guests). Unless you fancy yourself a party crasher, your best bet for some quiet time at this spot is during the week.

The Georgian Terrace
659 Peachtree Street, NE, Atlanta, GA 30308 (404) 897-1991

If you’re looking to preserve your sexy by doing some serious laps, then the Georgian Terrace has the right size pool for you. Located across the street from the Fox Theater, this historical beauty is full of opulence on the interior, poolside, however, is very basic. Plan to get a tan, there aren’t any umbrellas in the vicinity.

Atlanta Pool service would be interested in getting touch with the service. Once he gives his table for the service and gets back in good condition his mind would be glad and fresh to participate and take up any challenge in the game. This is how Atlanta pool sports persons are spending their life. The billiard player story is different they would be migrated from different part of the state and their billiard board would be in the home town and in the bad condition.
