I don’t know if you ladies are ready for my Throwback today. I’m going all the way back to 1988 when R&B singers were actually popular and amidst whatever jazz, rock and other music our parents listened to, some aunt or uncle kept that radio pumping with Cherrelle. Starting with her “Saturday Love” duet with Alexander O’Neal, (“If You Were Here Tonight” is still my jam…great song- TERRIBLE video), Cherrelle killed it with my fave, “Everything I Miss At Home.” Enjoy!

Technically “I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On” was her biggest hit, which Robert Palmer and Mariah Carey later re-made.
“Saturday Love”
“Never Knew Love Like This.” Gotta do it. Alex and Cherrelle’s duets were the BEST BBQ music, aside from Frankie Beverly & Maze of course. Much Respect.
