So a blog about a man who took Polaroids of his life every day from 1979 to 1997 has surfaced and the photos are really silencing. They are windows into the events of Jamie Livingston’s—a former film maker and editor at MTV—life. At 41, Livingston died of a brain tumor and images from his time spent in the hospital are also on this blog. {Guardian}

In Gori, Georgia, the Russian soldiers are still not acting right. Maybe they’re pissed that President Medvedev called a cease fire yesterday so now they’re looting and stripping residents of everything at gun point upon their entering the city. War… Huh! Legendary reggae production duo Sly and Robbie are at it again in conjunction with Detroit soul master Amp Fidler. The Three have been commissioned to create an album together by Strut Records, who are set to release their Inspiration Information series in October. {XLR8R}

Remember that story about the girls in Gloucester, Mass. that made a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together (silly girls, you’re just supposed to practice getting baby making, not actually make the baby). Well the principal’s resigned from the school where the pact was formed saying that Gloucester Mayor Carolyn Kirk “publicly slandered [his] reputation” when she called him to a press conference to decipher whether there was an actual pact or not. {CNN}
