Recent studies in the UK have shown that families are still couch potatoes who spend a lot of time in front of the TV but now they’re doing much more than just watching the Tele. They’re texting, surfing the internet, talking on the phone and doing god knows what with other technological devices. I am a supporter of the demise of television, so I think the phasing out is kind of cool, but the hyper stimulation of messing around with your computer, cell phone and TV all at the same time is scary. {Guardian}
