From Times Square to Grant Park, Obama supporters around the country cheered, danced and shed tears in celebration of last night’s victory. Right here in Brooklyn, an impromptu block party took place on Ft. Greene’s Dekalb Avenue, as cars and buses honked their horns and crowds danced in the streets to the sounds of Fela Kuti and Stevie Wonder until the wee hours of 3 a.m. Simply beautiful!
