Following a lovely impromptu BBQ on Memorial Day, our adorable friend Allan Cole aka Algorythm — ladies, he’s single! — and his boy, Darien Victor Birks né Flwrpt, shared their mixtape of instrumentals entitled The Stuyvesants. Um, WIN?! For anyone who ever considered compiling all of DJ Quik, Mos Def and Crooklyn‘s instrumental pieces and really enjoys living in or visiting Brooklyn’s Bed-Stuy neighborhood, this tape is perfect. We spent yesterday and this morning listening to the tape’s cool breeze…until we got that Drake leak. *coughs* Download The Stuyvesants here and peep what else we’ve got for you after the jump!

Our favorite Chicago based acid-wash loving duo, The Cool Kids along with The LA Leakers, just released a mixtape called Tacklebox to keep the masses happy until their hella late debut When Fish Ride Bicycles finally drops. Keeping with their fishing theme, this mixtape is their second following Gone Fishing, which dropped last year. Go ahead and download your retro-flavored beats and rhymes and tracklisting—-> here.

Oh Tabi. You know we love him around these parts… and kinda want to feed him too. OG Parlour homie Mick Boogie and Tabi Bonney have teamed up to deliver Tabi’s first-ever mixtape, A Place Called Stardom. The project features appearances by fellow DMV representatives Wale and Raheem Devaughn, plus GZA, Curren$y and more. Download here.
