Common x Nas “Ghetto Dreams” Mini-Documentary

Remember Common before Electric Circus, Universal Mind Control…hell, Badu? His first three albums, Can I Borrow A Dollar, Resurrection and One Day It Will All Make Sense introduced us to his vivid imagination and clever wordplay plus No.I.D. and Twilite Tone/Yknot, while we were simultaneously embracing Nas over in New York once he dropped Illmatic, It Was Written and more albums we like to imagine never happened. Oddly enough, the two never collaborated. Fast forward 16 years and Common’s upcoming The Dreamer The Believer is set to drop soon, featuring the single “Ghetto Dreams” with Nas. Took long enough, but the duo traded cups of Henny for fancy glasses of white wine, took a trip down memory lane and let us in to witness the making of “Ghetto Dreams.” Check the mini doc below:
