NBA Finals For Ladies: Atlanta’s Best Sports Bars With Cuties

Oklahoma City Thunder baller Kevin Durrant (ESPN)

With the exception of friendly, neighborhood strip joints, Atlanta’s social scene has a regrettable reputation for circulating the same faces, but worst rumor is women always outnumber men at parties. Thankfully, sporting events like the NBA Finals, the Superbowl, Floyd Mayweather fights and any other sport-related viewing parties are usually the exception to the rule. So if you’re looking to toss back a few drinks and get chatty with the guy who claims he never really goes out – which explains why you’ve never seen him before – this is a prime opportunity. Besides, taking in a good sporting event can not only help fill your proverbial dance card and it doesn’t hurt to learn a fraction about the game. Why? What’s better than watching hot, athletic men on TV while flirting with some charming eye-candy at the bar? That’s what I call a win-win situation.

Get ready to crash a party or three with my Parlour picks of Atlanta’s hot spots so you can scout some new talent:

Stats Restaurant and Bar
300 Marietta Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30313 (404) 885-1472

Conveniently located in the downtown area, this fine establishment caters to large crowds and men with an affinity for business. Between the multitude of high-definition TVs and the ever-scrolling stock ticker, it’s no wonder why men who are about their business flock to this spot.

3576 N. Desert Dr., East Point, GA, 30344

Owned and operated by a former Gentleman’s Club mastermind, guys on the southside of Atlanta know exactly where to go to get it in locally. If you’re looking for a true ATLien or a biker-boy, you’re almost sure to bump into him here.

The Ultimate Bar and Grill
3515 Camp Creek Parkway, East Point, GA 30344 (404) 349-2642

With a very similar, but slightly more mature crowd than Scores, this spot is a favorite among athletes looking to blend in.

19th Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30363 (404) 815-8990

This restaurant is fairly new to Atlanta sports fanatics but has become a fast favorite. The Yardhouse has an open-air patio, a large bar and an easily accessible location in Atlantic Station, making it ideal for locals looking to get their fill of food and spirits, then walk it off by with a little stroll around the retail shops. Plus, the patio is ideal for people-watching.

Hudson Grille
4046 Peachtree Road Northeast, Atlanta (404) 233-0313

For the girl looking to try Something New there are a variety of men to choose from in this mixed crowd. Go ahead and try a sample, girl!
