I’m a sucker for videos with kids in them — remember Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West‘s “Us Placers”? Hell, remember when they were going to be, like, a trio? — and Meridian, Mississippi MC Big K.R.I.T. new clip for “Me and My Old School” has some adorable children. Boasting one kid dressed like K.R.I.T. might’ve looked when he was around eleven, complete with Pimp C-like spectacles and all, at least the video’s director didn’t trust the kiddies behind the wheel of any of the many Cadillacs featured in this project. Elsewhere, K.R.I.T. recently confirmed that his duet project Country Cousins with fellow Southern gent Yelawolf is officially on deck.
“It’s coming out,” K.R.I.T. confirmed to HipHopDX. “The lyrical content, for one, is going to be crazy. Because if you know anything about Yelawolf, he’s extremely lyrical person. So I’m excited to get in the studio and go toe-to-toe with him, lyrically. It’s going to be a friendly competition with that. And then just really making something that’s probably never even been heard before.”
Enjoy ladies!
p.s. Lil Keke is that you?
