Outside of a better well being, body, hair, skin, nails, outlook, and sex – committing to a healthy lifestyle and active fitness regimen is actually one of the best things you can do if you are planning to travel this year. A healthier body means more resistance to bacteria that may only be present in your intended destination, and a solid defense from being in close quarters with all types of people. Basically, planes and airports are cesspools of germs and you’ve got better things to do. A regular fitness routine such as running, biking, walking and more are also a great way to get social and tour your destination while getting a workout in.
So where do you start? With us! Parlour is happy to support the MAD Free #30for30 fitness movement led by one of our inspirations, Michaela angela Davis. It’s simple – for the month of May (yes, tomorrow!) just commit to 30 minutes or more of exercise, no matter what, no matter where you are—including on holiday. The entire Parlour crew is heading to Barbados this month for a very special wedding, so this is a perfect way to get our beach bodies together and have some healthy social fun while there.
