For others, it’s all about braving the airport and heading back home. But for the last minute sand and sun loving, new locale searching, #TravelFly styling woman who has yet to figure out her New Year’s Eve plans—today is the day to start hunting for a good deal and warm destination to wake up to 2016 in. Why: A super laid-back boutique hotel on the south coast marina (with a cute little beach), super close to all of the islands main attractions, perfect for exploring why they call Grenada the “Spice Island.” They also have a popular in-house cooking class and mermaid swimming. Yes, mermaid swimming. Get ya life!

Remember that New Year’s Eve is one of the most expensive travel seasons, so double check all the rates you find but if the deal is good, don’t wait too long. Also, it’s worth it to call the hotel just to go over the fine print and confirm your booking if going through a third party. Also, don’t forget to protect your brown skin when you get there.
